Born Jan. 7, 1943 in Needville, TX to William Joseph Bachert, Sr., and Lorene Bednarek, Billy loved his family, gardening and, most importantly, leading others to saving faith in Jesus Christ. He served his family and others through a variety of professional and ministry capacities and never hesitated in sacrificing to provide for those he loved.

From all of us who loved him dearly, we are thankful for the legacy he left - one that far exceeds the value of the most commonly held riches of this world. His life taught us that faith in Jesus, love of family and an unrelenting commitment to a job well done pays dividends for all eternity!
